Thursday, November 21, 6:30 PM in the cafeteria, the Cherry Run Elementary PTA will be welcoming Megan Davis to talk to us about “Promoting Independence” in our children. In addition to being a licensed school psychologist, Megan is a Cherry Run parent. She’ll be helping us learn about the development of important executive skills in our children, such as planning, organization, self-regulation, and problem solving. She’ll discuss some strategies that work to develop of these skills, and some things to avoid. We will immediately follow the presentation with our regular monthly PTA meeting starting at about 7PM.
